The tale of Honey & Buzz Legacy Travel begins with what "I" thought would sweet nicknames that our "soon to be" granddaughter would call me and my husband, but my husband wasn't exactly sold on the idea and the nicknames did not stick. But when it came to naming my boutique travel agency, Honey & Buzz just had that perfect zing. Yet, I also wanted the name to reflect the journey that led me to become a Certified Travel Advisor.

For two decades, I poured my heart into nursing, specializing in pediatrics—a field I hold dear. But the itch for change grew too strong to ignore. Retirement sounded tempting, but I knew I needed a new adventure to keep me on my toes. Caring for people, especially the little ones, has always been my jam. So, I decided to trade scrubs for suitcases and dive into the world of travel. As a family, we've jetted off to countless destinations—California, New York, North and South Dakota, Colorado, Florida, Texas, New Mexico, South Carolina, and beyond. We've even set sail on epic cruises to Jamaica, Belize, Grand Cayman, Honduras, and Cozumel, making memories galore with our three kiddos. 

And that's where the "Legacy" in Honey & Buzz Legacy Travel comes into play. It's about carrying forward that spirit of caring, just in a whole new way. Legacy is also about the knowledge, value, beliefs and traditions that we shared with our kiddos and hope they carry on with their families.  I'm beyond thrilled to kick off this new chapter, ready to see what mischief and magic lie ahead. Guiding families on their travel adventures and helping them craft their own legacies? Now, that's my kind of gig.
